Located in Elmsford, NY, Lagond Music School is a charitable organization dedicated to music education and live music performance. LMS seeks to identify and serve a diverse community of students, and provide a stimulating, creative environment that generates enthusiasm and motivation for music. It is innovative and dynamic, taking a professional approach in teaching not only the technical and theoretical knowledge of music, but the application of it in the professional world.

A Flawless Record: Lagond Music School Students Earn Acceptance and Score Scholarships At the Colleges of Their Choice
The class of 2017 won an overwhelming acceptance rate of over 97% at the colleges where they applied and received a significant amount of scholarship funding.   Each student was awarded an average of more than $30,000 per year, or a total of nearly $138,500 apiece for the full four years.

Lagond Adult Jam Sessions
August / September 2017 schedule
Lagond Music School continues its reach into the local music community by hosting adult jam sessions 3x a month and offers a place for musicians to congregate. Practicing and professional musicians of every skill level are welcome to bring their instruments and participate in these ongoing interactive sessions.

The adult jam sessions take place Sunday nights at The Haven at Lagond, a rehearsal and performance space in Elmsford, NY featuring two fully-equipped professional soundstages.

Each week spotlights a different genre and well-known guest musicians.
2nd Sunday of the Month – Rock Jam Session
3rd Sunday of the Month – Jazz/Latin Jam Session
4th Sunday of the Month – Funk/Soul Jam Session

Anyone with a desire to play – 18+ over – can join the jam on stage and sit in with peers as well as have an opportunity to meet and play with professional musicians. Adult players of all levels are welcome. Musicians are brought up on a first come first serve basis. (Spectators are welcome too)
